Note

"One of the earliest accounts of life in Kurdish villages. The narrative is in the form of letters to someone in England. There is a very interesting account of events after Fath Ali Shah's death, the succession of Mohammed Shah and the intrigues and claims by his rivals". (Ghani). This is the remainder issue with a special title-page covering both volumes and the preliminary matter for volume 2 incorporated with that of the first volume.
