First edition. Small 8vo. (19 x 13cm), 65 illustrations by Arthur Burdett Frost, 9 illustrations by Henry James Holiday, some slight spotting to preliminaries, original green cloth gilt, light wear to corners and spine extremities, spine slightly darkened, still a nice copy.

Note

This volume is a reprint of most of 'Phantasmagoria' and 'The Hunting of the Snark' with some additions. A preliminary note reads: 'Of the following poems 'Echoes', 'A game of fives', the last three of the 'Four riddles', and 'Fame's penny-trumpet', are here published for the first time'.
