The plates represent all main artists which contributed to the early times of the Ballets Russes - actually all main Parisian painters of the time: Picasso, Derain, Matisse, Sert and, on the Russian side, Bakst, Goncharova, Benois, Fedorovskiy, Golovin, Larionov, Roerich, Serov and Sudeykin. |
