Note This impressive collection narrates the story of the various British expeditions to reach the summit of Mount Everest. The first expedition in 1921 was led by Lieutenant-Colonel C.K. Howard-Bury. There was a second attempt in 1922 which included George Leigh Mallory who died in the 1924 expedition. |
