4to, (28 x 23 cms). 300 steel-engraved views on 150 plates, with descriptive text, decorated endpapers, bookplate, slight dampstaining to a few plates inside, title-page browned, bound in contemporary half red morocco, spine gilt decorated, green boards,raised bands; slightly worn and rubbed; overall a very good copy.

Note

Houses include Blenheim Palace, Luton Hoo, Arundel Castle, Woburn Abbey and Chatsworth.
