Note The Cyrillic title is surmounted by the Imperial eagle bearing a laurel branch, with the coat of arms of Moscow in an oval shield below. To the right-hand corner of the map are classical Romanesque ruins, and within these ruins is a broken tablet with symbols of the fourteen cities of Moscow. The plan was compiled and drawn by lieutenant Marchenkov and engraved by Lavrentiy Florov. The publishing of it was subsidized by merchant Nikita Kalchugin. |
