Second edition, xxiv, 258pp, 15 engraved views, folding map at rear,, 9 plans, slight spotting throughout, original yellow biedermeier boards, slightly worn at corners; overall a very attractive copy.

Note

This rare French edition has the title pasted on top of the upper board. The text was translated from the seventh edition of " Rheinreise " . This title is one of the earliest in the French series which first started in 1846. This is one of the few titles published in the yellow "biedermeier" boards . Scarce.
