First edition. xxviii, 632pp, 60 town plans, (no clubausgabe on title-page), gilt lettering bright, original coarse-grained binding, a very good clean copy.

Note

This was volume I of the official guide of the German Automobile Club and designed primarily for motorists. It was published shortly after the " Anschluss of Austria " . Volume II was intended to cover former Austria. However in 1939 they issued a second volume which covered all the German territories and included Austria. The club edition with insignia on title-page was only issued to club members. This copy without the club insignia on the title-page was probably sold to a member of the general public. Endpapers dated "Mai 1938".
