The condition of all books has been described; all items are guaranteed to be complete unless otherwise stated. All prices are nett and do not include postage and packing. Invoices will be rendered in £ sterling. The title of goods does not pass to the purchaser until the invoice is paid in full
You may order books from Bernard J. Shapero Rare Books safe in the knowledge that any book may be returned if you are not happy with it providing we are notified within 7 days of your receiving it. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under UK or EC law for returning the item outside this period. All we ask is that you return the item(s) by the same or similar method to that in which they were sent to you. Your postage costs and any payment already received will be refunded immediately on our receipt of the books in the same condition as they were received by you. Normally we send books by Datapost or DHL. Postage is charged at cost and you will be notified in advance of the exact amount. All our books are insured in transit at our expense. We accept all major credit cards as well as Sterling and US Dollar cheques. If paying by cheque, please make it payable to Stocklight Ltd. Our online Search enables you to order books safely and quickly by credit card or to enquire further about books which interest you. Please note that although our books may be priced in US Dollars, when we receive payment by credit card we have to process the amount in Sterling. This can lead to a slight discrepancy in the amount you are charged on your statement. If this is the case, please notify us and we will credit your card accordingly. As our stock of books is always changing, items in the catalogues may have already been sold; if a book you want doesn't appear on the search page, then this is probably the case. However we are always able to help locate what you require so please don't hesitate to contact us.
