This unusual edition of "Travellers on the Continent" has the early armorial book-plate of Charles Dickens, the famous novelist (1812-1870). The bookplate depicts a "lion couchant" with Charles Dickens printed underneath. The title-page refers to railways for the first time. Lister 10.
