Bernard J Shapero : Rare Books

Early English

We aim to offer a choice selection of English books printed before 1800, with an emphasis on rarity and condition. Particular areas of interest include popular vernacular printing: almanacs, chapbooks and books for daily life, as well as the products of the emergent periodical press. The literature of the learned is also represented, both scientific and literary, along with economic and mercantile material. When available, we also offer manuscripts within the aforementioned areas. We are always interested in acquiring quality material, whether single items or collections.

There are 8 books in this department.
