Bernard J Shapero : Rare Books

Literature

The main strength of the Literature Department is in twentieth century first editions. We offer a small but exclusive selection of first editions in their original state in collectible condition. You will find books by Atwood and Beckett as well as Woolf, Wilde and Yeats, high spots, such as Joyce’s Ulysses, as well as little known works and authors.  We are particularly interested in British publications with an emphasis on dust jacket design. However, we do stock a range of Art & Photography and Private Press items, or, you may also want to browse through our children’s and illustrated books and earlier literature, which include the Romantic Poets, R.L. Stevenson and authors from the Victorian era such as Jane Austen or Charles Dickens.
