First edition of Dahl's first book, a fanciful tale of the curious little creatures, driven from their homes in the trees by the march of wartime industries, that plagued aviators' imaginations. Despite Dahl's British nationality, this was first published in the U.S., intended to accompany a Disney animated film that was never produced.
