Partly uncut, slight toning to paper, inserted loose flyer advertising for the experimental "Group Theatre" and promoting the first production of Auden's and Isherwood's collaborative work with music by Benjamin Britten as well as other works by Eliot, MacNeice or Spender. Crimson cloth with gilt lettered spine, red and cream dust-jacket lettered in white and black, slightly dust-soiled and with some browning to spine, two small tears and head and tail of spine with some minor chipping.
