First edition in the original 32 weekly parts. 8vo., original white pictorial wrappers ornamentally printed in red and blue, scattered light soiling, 32 wood-engraved plates (several with light marginal dampstaining) and 32 vignettes in the text by George H. Thomas, a few backstrips worn, notably that to part I, that to part III skilfully re-attached, others with average wear, with all the advertisments save for those to part VII, which has a duplicate set of the ads. from part IV, without the inserted slips for "The select library of fiction" in part I and the lilac inset slip in part XVIII as often, chemise and pull-off cloth box, a very good set.
