Fittler, London, 1795. 2 volumes, 4to (24.5 x 15 cm), 2 engraved title pages, with an engraved page of contents to each book (three such pages for the Psalms) dated from August 1791 (Genesis) to December 1794 (Revelation), profusely illustrated throughout; light foxing to the plates; contemporary red straight-grained morocco gilt, elaborate gilt rolls framing boards, spines in six compartments, gilt lettered and numbered to second and fifth, gilt raised bands, elaborate dentelles, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers.
Excellent copy, finely bound in red morocco. The illustrations were engraved by Fittler, one of the publishers, and show celebrated religious paintings by Dürer, Corregio, Rubens etc.
