A FINE COPY OF THE FIRST, LIMITED EDITION, this copy bearing the number 432 out of 1000. The beautiful costumes were designed for Diaghilev's revival of 'La Belle au Bois Dormant' at the Alhambra Theatre in London in 1921. This deluxe edition with colourful plates commemorated Bakst's costumes and sets for a ballet so lavish that it nearly bankrupted Diaghilev.
