Original red cloth, gold lettering to upper cover within a black and gilt frame, white moire endpapers, all edges gilt; neatly rebacked, endpapers spotted. Provenance: Alexander III ? (label and binding); Paul M.Fekula (this copy 5696 in his catalogue).
Rare poem upon Alexander III's coronation, finely bound, with a title printed in gold. Possibly Alexander III's own copy, then in the Fekula collection. Rare: we could trace only 2 copies outside Russia (Berlin and Stockholm, this one without the title printed in gold); apparently none in the USA.
