EXCELLENT COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION. In contrast to more conventional costume plates, this work shows the people described leading their everyday lives, for example in a national dance, playing a moujik game, spending time with their children, and enjoying village amusements, an entire family dangerously on a see-saw.
