The journey took the author and Major Roche from Kashmir to Chinese Turkestan. Dunmore then went alone through Russain Central Asia to the Caspian Sea. The expedition covered 2,200 miles crossing 69 rivers and 41 mountain passes, some of them amongst the highest in the world. Yakushi D360.
