Two-thirds of the book is devoted to the classic account of the journey and subsequent travels of Mrs. Foote and her husband, Henry, an English diplomat, from Greytown in Nicaragua, to El Salvador where he was to take up a new appointment. A very evocative account. Sabin 25025.
