London, printed for the authors, and sold by G. Kearsly, No. 46, Fleet-Street, and all other booksellers in Great Britain and Ireland 1773. Folio, unpaged, title page in red and black, text in double columns, ownership inscription of William Watson in contemporary hand to verso title page, 50 maps and illustrations described in the introduction with an additional 21 bound or tipped-in, 21 with original hand-colour, most maps by Kitchin or Bowen, offsetting to text from plates, 1-inch worm track affecting 12 pages of text and 5 plates but not affecting sense, marginal worm holes towards end, contemporary reversed sheepskin, hinges just splitting but firm, spine in six compartments, red morocco lettering piece to second, edges worn.
Of the twelve copies listed in ESTC of this work, only two are held in the United Kingdom (National Library of Scotland and National Library of Wales). With a unique assemblage of maps, this work represents an unusual copy of Watson's work, and one possible owned by his family. Cox II, p354.
